Compulsory time in school per day is 5 hours 35 minutes for pupils in Key Stage 2 and the typical week is 27 hours 55 minutes. The typical day is hours 5 hours 5 minutes for pupils in Reception and Key Stage 1 and the typical week is 27 hours 5 minutes. This includes a 15 minute morning break for all children.
Out of School Clubs - Breakfast Club and After School Club
Places are available when booked via the school office. Breakfast Club is available from 7.50am at a cost of £3.50 per session including a healthy breakfast. After School Club runs from 3.30pm-5.15pm daily and costs £8.00 per session including afternoon tea.
School Starts
The bell rings at 8.55 am for the start of the school day. Registration ends at 9.05am.
Collective Worship
Children and staff are invited to Collective Worship each day at 10.30am.
Morning Playtime
Children have a morning break from 10.50am-11.05am.
Lunch
Class 1 have lunch from 12.00pm, Class 2 from 12.10pm. Lunchtime ends at 1.05pm.
Drop-off and Collection
At the beginning (8.55am) and end of the school day (3.30pm), parents/ carers are invited into the playground to drop off and collect their children. If normal arrangements have to be changed (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know.
After-School Clubs
Teachers and other providers offer clubs after school (Mon-Thurs) with the clubs running each term being notified to parents. The clubs range from art to sport as well as SATs boosters and homework clubs. If your child has signed up for a club, please let us know when your child can not attend. We encourage full attendance to develop pupils sense of commitment.
